RIVER STAGE

Address: Botanic Gardens, Alice Street, Brisbane.

Getting There:

• A free inner city Loop Bus leaves Adelaide and Edward Streets (stop 25) and stops at George and Alice Streets. It is an 800 metre walk to the River Stage from Alice Street.
  
  
• Catch a train to Central Station and then walk down to Alice Street and City Botanic Gardens.
  
  
• Catch a CityCat and get off at QUT Gardens Point terminal (a 965 metre walk to the River Stage).
  
  
• Walk aong the RiverWalk.
  
  
• Ride your bike.
  
  
• Park at South Bank and walk over the Goodwill Bridge.
  
  
• There is also a drop off and pick up area at Gardens Point Road behind QUT's Gardens Point campus.

What To Bring:

• There are no ATM or EFTPOS facilities at the venue so please bring cash on the day.

Food and Drink:

• Available on site. BYO food permitted.

Safety:

• A personal safety and security search is a condition of entry to River Stage. You cannot bring the following items into the venue:
  • Chairs
  • Eskys
  • Skateboards
  • Studded fashion items
  • cameras, video or audio recorders of any type
  • umbrellas
  • laser pointing devices
  • large flashlights and torches
  • fireworks of any type
  • full, empty or opened plastic beverage bottles, cans and containers
  • any weapons or items considered harmful to others
  • Prohibited items can be left at the cloakroom. Illegal items will be confiscated.
    
    
• Patrons must not stand on bins or fences. Any injury caused or suffered as a result is the patron's responsibility.
  
  
• No pass-outs are given for re-entry into the venue, unless otherwise advertised.

Conditions of Entry - Licensed Event

• Licensing laws do not allow any alcohol to be brought into the venue.
  
  
• Proof of age will be required to purchase alcoholic beverages.
  
  
• Persons under 18 must be accompanied by and adult.
  
  
• Children under 6 years are not permitted in the venue.
